After being a P.O.W. and being rescued, she is setting the record straight on how she saw them. Basically what I gather is that the Army is trying to hype up the event and make a tv movie out of it. As one poster said in the comments, Americans wants their hero's, everyone likes a great feel good story now and then. What better way than this right? Well Jessica Lynch just wants to tell the story from her experience.
